Women’s Resource Center Hosts Its 3rd Annual Fundraising Luncheon

Program Details: The Women’s Resource Center of Wayne, PA, invites you to join hundreds of local female professionals at the Union League for its third annual fundraising luncheon which will honor four women leaders in the Philadelphia-area who have made exceptional contributions to their community.  

World-renown productivity and communications expert and author, Neen James, who has served on the Women’s Resource Center Board of Directors since September 2007, will emcee the luncheon, and Kim Woodworth, regional vice president of Comcast Spotlight, will provide the keynote speech. Speaking to the luncheon’s theme, “Embrace, Honor, Celebrate,” Woodworth will inspire all in attendance.  She will also release her eagerly anticipated book I am a Grateful Woman. Event attendees will have the opportunity to purchase her book as well as participate in a raffle to win one of more than fifteen themed baskets full of gifts donated by local vendors.

The event will honor four outstanding Philadelphia area women who have made notable contributions in their respective fields, including Mia Mendoza of the Mendoza Group; Marilyn Russell, a leading radio personality in Philadelphia; Carol Nelson Shepherd, one the of the founding partners of the Philadelphia law firm Feldman Shepherd; and Leanne Wagner, Vice President, Commercial Differentiation Strategy Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
