The primary goal of the innovative project is to bring the direct and collateral benefits of the current developments in enterprise Information Technology in the field of ecological stewardship and IT cost management to the Small-Mid sized Business sector in the Delaware Valley.  Tymor Technology Inc. is an MSP or Managed Services Provider. The 2009 PC Energy Report produced estimates U.S businesses waste $2.8 Billion a year by leaving the PC's on over night, emitting about 20 Million Tons of Carbon Dioxide - Roughly the equivalent of 4 million cars. The report also stats that most businesses believe that their IT departments or outsourcing companies need their machines to be left on overnight in order to deploy security patches and software updates. Others believe an on-board "sleep" or hibernation mode kicks in. Tymor hopes that their new initiative, the Green Technology Project can turn that around.
