The American Freedom Launches Freedomfastpitch.com to Pave the Way to College Softball's Future.

American Freedom was started by Mr. Tim Soefje in 2006 to better prepare softball players for college softball. The program is committed to attracting and retaining the best possible players who have what it takes to prepare for the college softball experience.   Our goal is to attract players we believe have the determination, work ethic, talent and desire to become college softball players.

The American Freedom Program is committed to providing opportunities for young female athletes to engage in quality, competitive experiences and to successfully prepare players for the college recruiting and selection process.  To ensure our players understand the effort required to become a sought after college prospect.   The American Freedom believes that a competitive athletic experience can instill a good work ethic, enhance social development, contribute to mental and physical health, and teach values of personal responsibility, self-discipline, self-motivation, and teamwork.

The American Freedom Program is privileged to have been chosen by Scout Training Facility as its first sponsored girls’ fastpitch softball program. Since being founded in January 2006, the American Freedom Fastpitch Softball Club has grown to include four teams in the Gold, 16u, 14u, and 12u divisions.

The American Freedom Program
Building on the success of the 2008 American Freedom 18GOLD team, the American Freedom Program is made up of some of the rising young stars in North and Central Texas. The Program now includes four teams including: American Freedom (Soefje) - 18GOLD, American Freedom (Trout) - 16u/18u,  American Freedom (LeBeau) - 14u/16u,  American Freedom (Kennedy) - 12u.

Our players reside throughout Texas, including Arlington, Atascosa, Bristol, China Spring, Denton, Frisco, Flower Mound, Keller, Mansfield, Mesquite, Plano, San Antonio, Terrell, Waco, and West.

Our players possess substantial ASA, NSA and USFA national-level experience, including participation at ASA18 Gold Nationals in Oklahoma City and ASA 16u, 14u, and 12u National Tournaments. Founded in January 2006, the American Freedom 18Gold team is one of the few teams in Texas to have qualified for three consecutive ASA National Championships in 2006, 2007, and 2008, finishing 33rd at the 2008 ASA National Championships and took 5th place at the 2008 Colorado Fireworks Tournament.
