Free Fijian Social Networking Site Launched by FijianCircle.com

Jan. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- San Jose, California – A new social networking site, exclusively for Fijians around the globe, was launched today by FijianCircle.com, a San Jose area start-up.

“This one’s unique!” said Donovan Makund, FijianCircle.com’s founder, “The site gives users the ability to not only reunite with long lost classmates, family and friends but also read up on articles regarding health and finance affecting the Fijian Community.”  The articles are written in a blog format by users of the site or referenced sources that are relevant to the community.

Users can upload pictures, videos, start groups, chat and connect with other users using features provided by FijianCircle.com. It also has a Classmates feature, which searches for other members who have attended the same school during the same year, including primary and secondary years, Makund said. “The best part of all is that everything is free to the user.”

FijianCircle.com also has a feature called the Fijian Locator, which maps results on Google Maps after users have participated in a Global Poll, Makund said. “It shows users all the countries where Fijians reside today.”
