Nov. 3, 2008 - PRLog -- TekTone® Sound and Signal's Certified IPC Trainers (Brian Guercio, Johnny Henson, Becky Moore, Cindy Dills, and Gina Moses) presented certificates to employees who have completed Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) courses.  The information provided in the course will help TekTone® produce higher quality products with much less reworking.  IPC training also known as the Association Connecting Electronics Industries focuses on networking and technical exchange as well as the importance of the printed circuit board.  The employees who achieved the certification were provided with a wide range of hands-on solder training.  IPC coursework is divided into five modules, and CIS's are certified in one or more of these modules:
Module 1- Introduction/Overview
Module 2- Wires and Terminals
Module 3- Through-Hole Technology
Module 4- Surface Mount Technology
Module 5- Inspection Methodology
