PRLog -- Louis Geeringh is the chief executive officer of Deloitte Consulting, Southern Africa, a leading provider of audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory with more than 3,600 professionals of every discipline, based in 8 cities in South Africa and 16 cities in Southern Africa. Louis has been in this capacity since 2008 and with Deloitte for more than seventeen years. Prior to assuming his present role, he led the foreign investment group and was a regional executive on its board, where he chaired the emerging business chapter of the World Economic Forum and was responsible for the establishment of Deloitte offices in Angola and Mozambique. Louis founded the strategic business development unit in 1997 to develop tactical investment initiatives and to broaden its scope of services. As a result of the success of this effort, Louis was appointed as executive director of the service innovation board. Since 2001, Louis has serviced high profile, multinational clients in the areas of growth strategy and innovation process. Louis is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is the author of several publications that highlight the causal links between total shareholder returns, revenue growth and innovation. He graduated from Pretoria University with a master’s degree in corporate finance and is an esteemed member of the South African Institute of Consulting and Accounting. Away from the office he is active in the community, enjoys playing golf and reading.
