PRLog -- Heather Lynn Fernstrom is an associate consultant for The Townsend Group, a provider of uncompromised and unbiased real estate investment advice. Headquartered in Cleveland, The Townsend Group is the largest specialty real estate investment consulting firm in the industry. Heather joined the group in 2008, as an associate consultant and is depended on to provide support to the consultants and principals on a client or project basis. Her work includes creating performance reports and summaries, project research and portfolio analytics as well as monitoring investment performance, investment reviews, interacting with investment managers and pooled fund and property research. Prior to joining The Townsend Group, Heather was a treasury management officer at Bancshares of Florida Inc. where she was responsible for the cash management and the settlement of borrowings and investments, preparation of quarterly investment reports, management of external auditors and development of the annual budget. Heather earned a master’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Western State College. Heather is an esteemed member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the International Council of Shopping Centers and Commercial Real Estate of Women. She supports the community through donations to the American Heart Association and uses her spare time to enjoy skiing and outdoor activities.
