Growth Mode Continues at Stonebridge Companies with Addition of New Senior Vice President

Sept. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Englewood, CO - Scott G. McChesney has been selected as a new Senior Vice President for Stonebridge Companies, a leading franchise development and management company for Hilton Hotels, Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.  This newly created Senior Vice President position will be responsible for business development, corporate growth opportunities, and real estate acquisitions.

With the development of over 60 hotels and managing operations of more than 75 lodging properties nationwide, Stonebridge Companies is looking to increase their market share even more.  Recent projects include the opening of the new Embassy Suites in Anchorage, Alaska along with several properties in the Denver, Colorado area including the Doubletree Denver Tech Center, Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown, aloft Hotel at Denver International Airport opening soon, and the redevelopment of a Cherry Creek site into a mixed use development that includes a 210 room Hilton Garden Inn.  A New York City project is also on the horizon.

McChesney brings an impressive background to Stonebridge Companies.  Most recently, he was the Vice President for the RD Olson Development Company, a leading developer of hotel, high density residential, office, retail, and mixed-use income properties.  Projects included a Marriott Residence Inn hotel in Burbank, CA and a Marriott Renaissance ClubSport hotel in Aliso Viejo, CA.  McChesney also served as Director of Development for the Imagineering division for the Walt Disney Company where he worked on the $1.4 billion Disney California Adventure including the Grand California Hotel.  Prior to that, McChesney was a Senior Manager of Development at Pepsi-Cola Corporation/Taco Bell, overseeing $400 million in development capital.
