Yaxley Education wins Suzlon Energy training contract in China

Suzlon Energy, the largest wind turbine manufacturer in Asia and the fifth largest in the world, has just signed a training deal with China-based training firm Yaxley Education.

Sept. 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Beijing—Suzlon Energy, the largest wind turbine manufacturer in Asia and the fifth largest in the world, has just signed a training deal with China-based training firm Yaxley Education.

The deal, which was signed early last week, enrolls Yaxley as the provider of soft-skills and English language training to Suzlon Energy’s engineers and members of HR team.

The deal is a sign of the Indian renewable energy company’s growing commitment to its Chinese operations.

In the space of six months, Yaxley has rapidly become one of the most dynamic corporate training firms in Beijing with an ever-growing client base of large, multinational companies.

‘It is exciting to be working with such innovative firms like Suzlon Energy,’ said Drew Ross, managing director of Yaxley’s Beijing office.  

‘Suzlon Energy have built one of the most successful teams on the wind energy stage and we are very pleased to be the provider of soft-skills and English language training to the dynamic team at their Beijing office.’

The training market in China has grown at an astonishing rate with the value of the English training market predicted to reach a staggering value of 30 billion yuan by 2010.

Yaxley Education’s training programme with Suzlon Energy is due to commence in early September.
