Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Training Approved for CHRP recertification credit

Psychometrics Canada Ltd. announced today that it has been approved as a Recertification partner of the Human Resource Professionals Association (HRPA).  HR Professionals can now earn continuing education credits by attending MBTI® Qualification and Advanced workshop courses offered throughout Canada by Psychometrics.

Professional development activities are required to maintain the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Psychometrics Canada’s approved Myers-Briggs training programs offer up to 40 of the 100 credits required every three years for recertification.

The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is a nationally recognized level of achievement within the field of human resources. The designation represents a commitment to a national standard of excellence, sets a benchmark for the practice of effective human resources, and emphasizes the strategic role of human resource management in business.

“We’re looking forward to this partnership with the Human Resource Professional’s Association.  Many of our customers who attend our workshops already have the CHRP designation. Providing an opportunity to earn continuing education credits will help them to maintain this valuable credential,” says Mark Fitzsimmons, Managing Director of Psychometrics Canada Ltd.

The MBTI tool is a powerful and versatile, indicator of personality type that is used throughout the world in a variety of languages for individual, group and organizational development. In the approved workshops, people learn to use the tool for team building, career direction, leadership development, coaching and conflict management.
