Scholarships Available For Young Women Ages 13-29 In Oklahoma

Feb. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- Oklahoma International Pageants is pleased to announce that the winners of the Miss Oklahoma and Miss Teen Oklahoma International pageants will each win a $2,000 cash scholarship. Additionally, the first runners-up of the pageants will each win a $1,000 cash scholarship.

The Miss Oklahoma and Miss Teen Oklahoma International pageant will be held in at the Lowry Activity Center in Stillwater on May 17, 2008.  Young women between the ages of 13-18 are eligible to compete for the Miss Teen Oklahoma title and young women ages 19-29 are eligible to compete for the title of Miss Oklahoma. The ladies crowned will represent Oklahoma at the International pageants in Chicago in July.

Areas of competition are One-on-one platform related interview (40%), aerobic wear (20%), fun fashion wear (20%) and evening gown (20%).  No swimsuit, talent or experience is necessary to enter.
