In This Season of Giving Thanks, The Tech Academy Launches Multiple Community Initiatives

PORTLAND, Ore. - Nov. 11, 2025 - PRLog -- The Tech Academy, Portland's longest-running privately operated coding boot camp, is expanding its mission to make technology education more accessible — both in Oregon and across the globe.

Their first new project is in partnership with Konexio Africa, a nonprofit organization dedicated to digital inclusion for displaced populations. The Tech Academy has awarded a full scholarship to its first student living in a refugee camp in Malawi. This is just the beginning of what they hope will be a strong partnership that empowers students to build new futures through specialized training in technology. Students may choose from individual programs in software and web development, depending on their career goals.

At home, The Tech Academy has launched its new Oregon Resident Scholarship, providing a 10% tuition discount for Oregon residents.The initiative aims to give back to the local community that has supported the Tech Academy for more than 13 years.
