Stand for Health Freedom Endorses Paul Renner for Governor of Florida

From strengthening parental involvement in education to defending the right to make personal medical choices, Renner's record demonstrates a consistent dedication to the freedoms that define the Sunshine State.

Among his signature accomplishments, Renner led the passage of SB 252 (2023), the Protection from Discrimination Based on Health Care Choices Act, which prohibits government and business entities from discriminating against individuals based on vaccination or medical status. The measure enshrines key protections for medical privacy, informed consent, and freedom from coercive health mandates.

He also helped advance HB 1069 (2023), the Parental Rights in Education package, which expanded transparency in Florida schools and reinforced parents' authority over classroom content and curriculum decisions. The bill underscored the principle that parents, not the government, should guide their children's upbringing and education.
