Several principals and teachers from participating schools shared their reflections on the SETU program. Initially, some had concerns about allocating time to the life skills sessions alongside academic priorities. However, after observing the program's impact, they recognized that education is not just about reading and writing but also about emotional, physical, mental, and social development. Teachers further pointed out that in today's world, where life skills are diminishing in society, SETU helps adolescents develop essential skills during their formative years. They unanimously supported the need for such programs in all schools, with cooperation from headmasters, teachers, and cluster leaders. Speaking at the event, Mrs. Aruna Devi More said, "The SETU program should reach not just adolescents but also their parents. Adolescence is a sensitive phase, often filled with confusion, and this program helps guide both children and parents. By linking knowledge, science, and values, SETU ensures holistic growth. In today's competitive world, these life skills will help adolescents build resilience and achieve their goals." Chief guest Mrs. Sangeeta Mane appreciated the initiative and encouraged teachers to internalize the learnings from the workshop and share them with colleagues. She added, "This way, the workshop will benefit not just students but also teachers themselves." The workshop reinforced the role of life skills education as an integral part of adolescent development and underlined EmpowHER India's commitment to making every child school-ready, work-ready, and life-ready.
