CARLISLE, U.K. - June 25, 2025 - PRLog -- An exploration of surface and self
7th July - 13th July | Tullie Museum and Gallery, Carlisle

PRISM 2025 invites visitors to experience a dynamic takeover of Tullie's newly refurbished entrance and foyer spaces, as well as the Garden, Lecture Theatre and City Hall Studio. The exhibition will feature large-scale painting, striking digital work, delicate ceramics, thought-provoking 3D forms and immersive storytelling.
The exhibition showcases colour and joy, explores identity and lived experience, and challenges cultural perceptions of difference.

"We are incredibly proud to be working with Prism on this exciting new exhibition. We have worked with Prism for many years, and this new project represents an exciting evolution of our partnership. The works from Prism artists will be beautiful additions to our brand-new welcome area – we can't wait for visitors to see them."
— Anna Smalley, Head of Collections & Engagement at Tullie

"This is a wonderful opportunity to share a small selection of incredible new work from some of the most talented, imaginative artists in the region. This is the start of an exciting new journey for Prism."
Martin Swan, Creative Director at Prism Arts

Prism Arts are a Cumbrian arts organisation and progressive studio established in 1987 to champion the work of learning disabled and neurodivergent artists and performers. Prism continues to evolve, and this exhibition presents bold, inclusive work that reflects the world we live in now.
In recent years, Prism Arts has rebuilt and reimagined its programmes in the wake of the global pandemic, emerging with renewed creative energy and exhibiting success. The studio has presented work across the region and beyond, including at Brewery Arts in Kendal, Carlisle Cathedral, Dove Cottage in Grasmere, and Wentworth Woodhouse in South Yorkshire. This latest exhibition at Tullie marks an exciting next chapter in Prism's ongoing impact and visibility.
