EDEN's First "Run for Freedom" Combines 5K/10K with Immersive Story to Fight Trafficking

WEST COVINA, Calif. - May 27, 2025 - PRLog -- EDEN invites the community to move with purpose at the inaugural Run for Freedom 5K/10K at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas. The same scenic venue selected to host Olympic mountain biking in 2028.

This unique race raises awareness and sustainable support in the fight against human trafficking. The event begins at 9:00 AM, with check-in starting at 8:00 AM. Participants will have the opportunity to meet local anti-trafficking organizations and hear the heart behind the mission.

What sets this race apart is what happens along the path. Runners and walkers will be guided through an immersive audio journey with symbolic prompts and reflective moments, inviting them to step into a deeper story of courage and hope. It's not just a race—it's an experience.

This immersive approach reflects EDEN's broader mission to go beyond one-time giving and build long-term, sustainable support. Proceeds from the event will help fund EDEN's innovative model, which transforms everyday rent into ongoing support for frontline anti-trafficking organizations such as Shear Love International in Thailand and Oasis House in the U.S., which provide trauma-informed care, vocational training, and safe housing for survivors.
