Jaylyn Sherrod Hosts Annual 'Will Over Skill' Basketball Camp in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - March 16, 2025 - PRLog -- Jaylyn Sherrod, esteemed point guard for the World Champion New York Liberty, is set to host her annual "Will Over Skill" Basketball Camp on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The camp will take place at Ramsay High School, located at 13th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL, starting at 9:00 AM.

This free camp is open to boys and girls aged 7 to 17, offering a unique opportunity for young athletes to enhance their basketball skills under the guidance of a professional player. Participants will engage in drills, skill-building exercises, and competitive games designed to foster both individual talent and team dynamics.

"Our goal is to ensure that every child in Birmingham who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so," said Jaylyn Sherrod. "To date, we have registered 200 young athletes, and we are eager to reach even more."

Parents are welcome to stay and observe during the camp. The camp aims to instill values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, aligning with Jaylyn Sherrod's philosophy that willpower often surpasses raw talent.
