Christ's Church is committed to helping these individuals through meals, temporary shelter, and connection to long-term solutions. Good News Testimonies LindaLeeAnn, who is now working two jobs, spent her vacation week working her annual job at the State Fair. Nekesha and her three young children are battling cold symptoms while sleeping outside and going to school. Keith is preparing to move to Texas to be closer to his family. Alice is working to secure documentation for her child so they can travel to Greensboro for housing assistance. Rebecca and Karen are looking forward to moving into new apartments at King's Ridge, which will open in December. "Our goal is to meet the immediate needs of those we see every day in Moore Square and beyond," said Eddie Jones, Director of Communications at Christ's Church at Moore Square. "100% of all donations we receive go directly to helping those living outside—providing meals on Sundays, groceries, or renting motel rooms during extreme weather or emergencies." Christ's Church invites the community to join in these efforts by becoming a monthly partner ($10 or $25) or offering one-time donations. Christ's Church at Moore Square is a community-focused ministry dedicated to serving Raleigh's homeless population while also issueing weekly "Jesus Message" sermon cartoons.
