Players that pick World of Warships (WOWS) as their technologically advanced hobby or sport start out enjoying their new hobby as a 'player vs. bot (PVB) and then graduate to 'player vs. player (PVP).

As time goes by, they may or may not join what is referred to as a clan or guild, and this is great as WOWS is a technically advanced 'team hobby and sport' encompassing both formats as well as various combinations of the two.
