APRI Las Vegas' slate of new officers and the unions they represent include Dawson, IATSE Local 720, Vice President Lionel Campbell, UA Local 525, Treasurer Beverly Williams, Teamsters Local 986, Secretary, Evelyn Pacheco, UA Local 525, Trustee, Rob Sumlin, IAM Local 825, Trustee Randy Soltero IATSE Local 720 and Trustee Debbie Springer, SEIU Local 1107 James Bryant, the Southwest Regional Director of APRI called the election "a very special moment for Nevada." "Rekindling APRI's presence in Nevada will have a big impact on the next election," he said. "The work that APRI Las Vegas will do to educate, register and encourage voter participation could dramatically impact the trajectory of this country." As an AFL- CIO Constituency Group, APRI Las Vegas is a bridge between unions and diverse communities, creating and strengthening partnerships to enhance the standard of living for all workers and their families.
