Earley Challenges Opponents On Border Security

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - March 9, 2024 - PRLog -- Today at the Harrison County GOP Town Hall Veteran and Republican Congressional candidate Joe Earley (R-WV2) challenged his opponents on border security asking them to sign a pledge to stop the invasion and end all the asylum loopholes for illegal immigrants. Unlike Earley, none of his opponents have a real plan on securing the border.  In fact, two candidates don't even have any issues listed on their websites.

"Our next Congressman must be committed to stopping the invasion at the border, supporting Trump's deportation plan, and ending all the asylum loopholes for illegal immigrants.  Having seen the problem firsthand at Eagle Pass, I understand the urgency. That's why today I challenged my opponents to make a commitment to the people of West Virginia that they will support a real plan to end this dangerous nightmare," said Earley.

Earley went to the southern border last November.  He saw how illegals were pouring over our border and nothing was being done to stop the invasion.  As a result of that trip, Earley has written the most comprehensive border security plan and has endorsed Trump's deportation plan.

"Voters deserve to know if my opponents are committed to taking the necessary steps to fix this problem.  As candidates, they have not taken the time to go to the border or state a plan of action.  If they don't sign my plan, I believe that they don't deserve to serve in Congress," said Earley.
