Weakest Trump Trial OKed; Strongest in Trouble

Public Interest Law Professor Behind Trump's Georgia Trial Concerned

WASHINGTON - Feb. 15, 2024 - PRLog -- The law professor whose detailed criminal complaint against former president Donald Trump triggered the indictment against him in George is concerned that the weakest of the criminal cases against Trump has just been scheduled for trial beginning March 25, 2024, while the strongest of the criminal cases is in trouble with a hearing which could delay or even derail it.

Even before an indictment in New York was announced, a legal analysis by public interest law professor John Banzhaf had explained why the case brought by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for crimes related to the payment of hush money to a porn star by his former attorney and "fixer" Michael Cohen was the weakest.

Indeed, he speculated that, if the Bragg case went first, it might even weaken the other stronger prosecutions.

Although he may be somewhat biased in favor of the case he is responsible for, the law professor nevertheless provided many strong reasons why the Georgia RICO case is the strongest of all the criminal cases Trump faces.

That's why Banzhaf recently said he is so disappointed by DA Fani Willis in Georgia for behavior which may well delay if not completely derail her otherwise strong case against Trump.
