Discover the South Ionian Sea – in Style: One week from £1720

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Jan. 25, 2024 - PRLog -- Fleewinter's small fleet of three luxurious 60ft yachts – two monohulls and a catamaran – will be exploring the southern Ionian (https://www.fleewinter.com/luxury-sailing-holiday/the-odyssey-south-ionian-sailing-itinerary/) this summer on a brand-new itinerary.

The new charter will start and finish in the picturesque bay of Áy Eufimia on the island of Kefalonia, considered by many to be the prettiest island in the entire region (though departing from Lefkas is also an option).

Leaving the airport by private transfer, take in the beautiful landscape and dramatic views, as you head towards the traditional village of Áy Eufimia to meet your luxury yacht and her crew.

After a welcome drink, and safety briefing, set sail for a quiet anchorage where you can enjoy an afternoon swim, a three-course meal designed to suit your preferences and a night under the stars.

After a morning swim and mouth-watering breakfast, the crew will raise the anchor and journey to the first stop of the day at Atokos, looking out for dolphins on the way!

When the afternoon breeze has picked up, set the compass for Kastos. Kastos is stunningly unspoilt and has the magical atmosphere of a true hidden gem so head for shore taking in postcard views of your luxury yacht.

A visit to Fiskardho is a must. Arrive early to secure the top spot where you can snorkel and rockpool directly off the back of your luxury yacht. The day will soon disappear with a good book, a spot of yacht spotting, boutique perusing, gift buying and more than a few scoops of gelato.

Other places to discover on your very own Homor-esque Odyssey include the sleepy village of Little Vathi on Meganisi – with its boutiques and wine bars – Lefkas, and of course Ithaca.  The private, luxury cruise, ends where you began in the picturesque village of Áy Eufimia on Kefalonia.

The week-long holiday costs from £1,720 per person to £3,050 per person in high season (July and August).  Both prices are based on eight people sharing.

This includes private skipper and chef, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks, (dinner and alcohol are extra and paid at the end of the trip), private speedboat and all water sports (water-skiing, wakeboarding, ringo, windsurfing, SUP, snorkelling).
