Taylor Hospitality Announces Shane Jones as General Manager of Tygart Hotel

ELKINS, W.Va. - Nov. 7, 2023 - PRLog -- Taylor Hospitality is proud to announce the appointment of Shane Jones, native to Elkins, as General Manager of the Tygart Hotel. Shane brings extensive knowledge in the hospitality industry and is excited to lead the team at the newly renovated Tygart Hotel.

Shane's extensive business management knowledge makes him an ideal leader to guide the Tygart Hotel to success with expertise in areas such as management, marketing, administration, and leadership. Shane earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Davis & Elkins College in 2015 and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University online. He is expected to graduate in 2023. In 2021, Shane was recognized as the "Young Leader of the Year" by the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and has actively served as a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors for several years.

The Woodlands Development Group, the Tygart Hotel owners, selected Taylor Hospitality, a leading hospitality management company based in Waynesboro, VA to assist and consult with the overall construction, design, and management of all the pre-opening and furniture, fixture, and equipment procurement as well as oversee day-to-day operations.
