Follow on Google News | Cubo Launches Its Second Workspace in Nottingham with 50% Pre-LetsBy: Cubo The company acquired Standard Court, the former Nottingham General Hospital headquarters, in April following accelerated growth at its existing Fenchurch House building. Over the past six months a complete refurbishment of the building has been carried out, including a CAT A fit-out of the existing offices. The impressive Standard Court is located on the Royal Standard Place development, close to The Park Estate and the city centre. It boasts an elevated position and 3600 views over the city. The largest building in the Cubo portfolio, it includes 50,000 sq. ft of office accommodation arranged over four floors, with 630 desks available. It also features external community areas. Member benefits include 24/7 access, the use of large communal spaces, private areas, break-out spaces, meeting rooms and kitchens, a barista service, along with a programme of free networking events - all designed to enhance the lifestyle-led offering at Cubo. It also has a secure underground car park with 44 spaces. A wellness centre including gym and spa is set to open in the New Year. Businesses who have already joined Cubo at Standard Court include digital marketing agency Adtrak, who have expanded from Fenchurch Street to a 40-desk office at Standard Court, and leading property services company JLL, which is investing in hybrid working for its staff. There has already been significant interest from other corporate businesses looking to be based in one of the city's most high-profile buildings and more new members will be announced shortly. Cubo is rapidly establishing itself as the UK's leading provider of high-end flex office and co-working space with locations across the UK in cities including Leeds, Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, and Edinburgh. Earlier this year, ambitious plans were announced to almost double its footprint nationally by the end of 2023 - a growth strategy backed by investment firm Literacy Capital. A new site in Manchester has just opened, alongside a second site in Birmingham and Cubo in Newcastle is set to launch on 1 November. Commenting on the opening of Standard Court, Marc Brough, CEO at Cubo, said: "Refurbishment work at Standard Court has been underway for a number of months and the new workspace looks absolutely incredible. "It is the most impressive office building in Nottingham, and I am not surprised that more than 50% of the space has already been pre-let. "Businesses and entrepreneurs are moving to Standard Court because of its unbeatable location, local amenities and the sheer quality of the space. It is a place with a real presence on the city's skyline." End
