Why Hunter Biden's Gun-Divergence Deal Is Not "Valid and Binding"

Approval By Judge And By Chief Probation Officers Are Conditions Precedent

WASHINGTON - Aug. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- Although federal Judge Maryellen Noreika not only rejected the proposed diversion agreement related to a felony gun charge against Hunter Biden, but even went so far as to suggest that it was probably unconstitutional, Hunter's lawyers have insisted in a court document that the felony gun deal with fully "executed," and therefore is and was "valid and binding."

But it seems clear that, for at least a half dozen reasons, the so-called deal was never finalized, and therefore is not valid or binding, argues public interest law professor John Banzhaf.

Professor Banzhaf opposed approval of this combined plea deal which many have called a "sweetheart deal," and convinced the Heritage Foundation and a leading member of Congress to join in this opposition.
