Sunstream Global Technologies, the leading Cadence channel partner and engineering services company in India conducted an offline seminar on "product engineering trends and system design innovations" on 25 April 2023 at Hotel Royal Orchid, Bangalore in partnership with EMA Design Automation, Rochester, New York. Streamline 2023 showcased a rich list of experienced speakers from Cadence Design Systems, TATA Technologies, EMA Design Automation, VIAS 3D and Sienna ECAD.
The participants were welcomed by Dhana Shekar, Manager India Sales (Cadence/OrCAD tool sales), Sunstream Global Technologies by giving a short welcome note. This was followed by the keynote session by Jayashankar Narayanankutty, Group Director, Cadence Design Systems. Jayashankar's inspiring session covered the topic "Intelligence to design intelligent machines".
Keynote session was followed by a technical track by Sienna ECAD on "Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Analysis".
Third session was by Gopu Achath, VP of Technology with EMA Design Automation. This session covered Data management driven OrCAD/Allegro environment. Participants learned the global standard of data management architecture developed by Allegro PCB (https://www.sunstreamglobal.com/products/allegro-pcb-editor/).
This session was followed by a session by TATA Technologies on PLM to CAD integration presented by Kunal Kulkarni, Director, Digital. Fourth session was on 3D Experience platform from Dassault Systems. This was presented by Bhavesh Kumar, Director, VIAS 3D (India).
Gopu Achath from EMA did the last session on latest challenges in the industry including Supply chain delays, part shortages and compliance issues and how to address them. Supply chain best practices followed by successful design teams were introduced by Gopu Achath.
All the participants were involved in an engaging quiz about the sessions attended. Winners were presented with Amazon Alexa speakers. Unni Mecheeri, Director of Sunstream Global Technologies gave the vote of thanks for the participants and speakers. All speakers were presented with mementos. All the participants were gifted with seminar goodies. The whole session was compered by Gokul R, Head Electronics Design group at Sunstream Global Technologies.
