1World1Sky presents the Backpacks for Kids: Summer Bash Fundraiser, with SPD and Seattle Parks

SEATTLE - June 10, 2023 - PRLog -- 1World1Sky has partnered with the Seattle Police Department and Seattle Parks & Rec to launch a local fundraiser in anticipation for the "Backpacks for Kids: Summer Bash!"  All families in the area will be invited to join us at the South Park Community Center on August 18th at 4:30pm-7:00pm.

Our goal is to distribute 400 backpacks filled with school supplies for all children at the event. Along with this giveaway, SPD will be serving a delicious BBQ as activities and games occur throughout the evening.

We proudly announce our inaugural "Backpacks for Kids" event, an extension of our previous backpack program, that supplies homeless individuals in Seattle essential-filled bags. The SPD has been an amazing partner in all of our efforts in supporting low income and homeless communities.  We additionally have partnered with Low Income Housing Institute this year in effort to grow a new program that brings individuals in supportive housing extra resources. Local food banks including West Seattle Food Bank & White Center Food Bank have been remarkable partners in these programs as well.

With our ultimate mission to give more, this upcoming Summer Bash will put our vision into action.  We are calling on every one in or outside of the Seattle community to help participate in our fundraiser - in any capacity possible - as 100% of the funds will go toward empowering children for success this upcoming school year!
