The Spectrum Circle Honors Dr. Artika Tyner in the Category of Social Impact

ST. PAUL, Minn. - May 11, 2023 - PRLog -- The Spectrum Circle has named Dr. Artika Tyner as an award winner in the category of Social Impact. She'll be among the celebrated honorees during a luncheon in Washington, D.C. on Friday, May 19, 2023.

A limited number of mobile eTickets are now on sale online for the luncheon and awards ceremony to be held at the Fairmont Hotel, located at 2401 M Street North, in the Georgetown neighborhood. The Spectrum Circle's signature event will be conducted from 12 noon-3 p.m. EDT.

Tyner has an impressive number of achievements to her credit. She's the founder of Planting People Growing Justiceā„¢ Leadership Institute (PPGJLI) and the PPGJ Press and Bookstore. She's a highly sought speaker, the author of numerous award-winning books for children and adults, and has authored a series of STEM educational materials.

She conducts writing competitions each year for children and adults, is helping to preserve African-American history and culture, and is the recipient of a wide variety of awards for her work in the law and social justice endeavors. Tyner is a staunch supporter of literary and an advocate for the BIPOC community.

The Spectrum Circle was founded in 2015 by Karen Maria Alston, a culture and lifestyle expert, entrepreneur, brand strategist, thought leader, and advocate for women. The organization is an inter-generational community where women can share, inform and inspire. The organization honors women in multiple fields encompassing the arts, finance, government, health, media policy, social impact, sports, technology, and other fields. The Spectrum Circle Award is bestowed on individuals for innovation.

Every woman has her own unique life path to success. Award winners use their authentic life stories, experiences, backgrounds, and conversations to inform others, inspire women, and change perceptions.
