Songdoor 2023 Open for Submissions

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - April 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Every songwriter who enters will receive $220 worth of free songwriting tools, which includes a full-access 45-day trial from SongU.com (valued at $50), a Broadjam Film & TV membership (worth $100) plus one in a series of valuable ebooks produced by the Berklee College of Music. No membership is required and anyone 16 or older may enter. The entry fee is $15 per song.

This year's competition is in partnership with SongU.com, Colorado Sound Studios, MasterWriter, Broadjam, Steve Avedis and author Robin Frederick, and runs through November 15, 2023.

Our esteemed judges are back again this year: Nancy Moran, Joe Beck, Bill Shore, Jason Blume, Dennis Winters and Steve Avedis. Two Grammy® nominations, a #1 Europe chart hit, a wildly successful national tour and a Top 10 Billboard Country hit are among just a few accomplishments of the SongDoor judges last year alone.

Entrants are eligible to win the Grand Award, which includes a full-band private session demo at Colorado Sound Studios, a one-year Platinum membership to SongU.com, a two-year subscription to MasterWriter 3.0 songwriting software, a one-year Broadjam Film & TV membership, $1,000 cash and access to Robin Frederick's acclaimed online lyrics course. Six Category Winners each receive a valuable package of awards, including a top-shelf guitar-vocal or keyboard-vocal studio demo produced by Grammy®-winner Steve Avedis, and memberships to both SongU.com and Broadjam. All winners receive a parchment certificate ot recognition for their achievement.

Songs may be entered in six different categories: Christian, Country, Pop, Hard Rock/Alt-Rock, Soft Rock/Folk and Instrumental. Entries are accepted online through November 15, 2023.

The SongDoor International Songwriting Competition is an annual event, open to amateur and professional songwriters worldwide. Entries are accepted online from April 15 through November 15. The entry fee is $15.
