SongDoor 2022 Winners Announced

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jan. 24, 2023 - PRLog -- The winners of the SongDoor 2022 Int'l. Songwriting Competition have been announced: the Grand Award has been won by Aryn Michelle of Texas for her outstanding song, "America," which also won the Soft Rock category.

"This was one of our hardest years to pick a winner," says Tony Zotta, SongDoor president. "For Aryn to win two categories (she also won the Christian award for "Pariah") amidst this kind of strong competition really speaks to her innate talent. "'America' is such a relevant song, and with its clever lyrics and amazing multiple hooks, it was a slam-dunk."

Aryn Michelle is a faith-based songwriter, recording artist, music professor, worship leader and mother of four from Dallas, TX. Aryn began recording distinctly faith-based music in 2014 because she finally felt confirmed in her calling to write insightful, challenging, and thoughtful songs for the people of the church.
