Success For Armsons Barlow Following Merger

DERBY, U.K. - March 9, 2023 - PRLog -- 12 months on from their merger, leading Derby-based project managers, construction cost consultants and building surveyors Armsons Barlow have enjoyed one of the most successful periods in their 50 year history, with a raft of new contracts and a number of key appointments and promotions.

At the end of 2021, Armsons joined forces with chartered quantity surveyors and building surveyors Barlow & Associates to create Armsons Barlow and relocated from their long-standing home on Brick Row in Darley Abbey to Vernon Street in Derby.

Since then, the new company, Armsons Barlow, has landed a number of new high profile contracts as well as growing its existing client base. This includes expansion within luxury retail, industrial, residential and commercial for various private blue chip and international clients.

Examples include the fit out of a 78,000 sq ft warehouse, headquarters and research centre development for Swedish medical technology manufacturer Getinge and working closely with flex office provider Cubo with their major growth plans throughout the UK.

Over the past 12 months, Armsons Barlow have also strengthened their team with the appointments of Paul Hanson as associate director, along with Ryan Thompson as senior quantity surveyor and Gavin Hirst as quantity surveyor.

The new combined business provides an expanded, multi-disciplinary operation which encompasses all major building and surveying sectors including commercial, industrial, infrastructure, residential, healthcare, retail, sports and leisure, education and heritage.

Its current on-site projects have construction values ranging from £100k up to £30m, with pre-construction services being provided for projects with up to £50m development budgets.

Towards the end of 2022, the company celebrated a milestone 50 years in business, with more than 100 staff, clients, associates and friends marking the occasion with an evening reception at the Derby Museum of Making.
