Bigpond Email Setup using IMAP, POP, or SMTP

Here we will be looking at the process of how to set up Bigpond for IMAP, POP, or SMTP servers.

IMAP Settings

• The server name should be mail.bigpond.com
• The port for the server should be 993.
• Set the SSL to Yes
• Enter your username with your full email address.
• Then enter your password.

POP Settings

• The server address is mail.bigpond.com
• The port for POP is 995.
• Set the SSL to Yes.
• Provide your username, and also add in email address.
• Provide with user password.

SMTP Settings

• Enter mail.bigpond.com in the server address box.
• The port number should be 587 for SMTP.
• Here the SSL should be set to No.
• Then enter your email address in the User name section.
• Users will have to enter their Bigpond email password.
