ProKNX Announces Launch Of Smart Speaker With ChatGPT Capabilities

VALBONNE, France - Jan. 23, 2023 - PRLog -- The award-winning Aragon voice-controlled smart speaker was launched in 2020 by ProKNX. The original smart speaker put out on the market was developed with data privacy as its predominant goal. The device can work in an isolated network to control home automation devices such as lights, heating, and blinds without the need to connect to an external source. All analysis of speech and execution of commands are carried out on-device, ensuring the privacy of the user, and reliability of service. Aragon2 is a second-generation smart speaker, developed further from the first-generation Aragon. To increase the capabilities of Aragon 2, the user will have the option of continuing to use the product in an isolated network for complete privacy, or in a partial online mode to facilitate access to ChatGPT recently launched by the company Open AI.

Along with the new online mode feature, ProKNX have announced a number of new developments on the device's hardware and software. It will be possible to select from a number of wake-words, instead of being limited to one.  The device will come equipped with exceptionally sensitive microphones for enhanced listening abilities, even in noisy environments. Performance speed and response sensitivity of Aragon2 are also markedly enhanced.

The Aragon2 smart speaker for English-language use will be launched at the end of January 2023. French- and German-language versions will be available for purchase from the end of March 2023.
