Duke Institute of Studies has recently launched a new website www.duke.ac.nz. It provides information on the English language courses they offer for international and local students, adults and teens, in Auckland

DUKE Institute of Studies was established in 2001 and was taken over in 2015 by Noona Lee and Seyoun Kim. Since then, the school has been family-owned and operated and continuously provides a supportive environment for learning the English language to both adults and teens in Auckland.

Located in Takapuna beach, the boutique English language training centre welcomes international students from all over the globe. Experienced English teachers cater students of all ages in NZQA-approved English speaking courses, IELTS courses,  and holiday programmes in Auckland. All short-term courses are open for international students with the inclusion of homestay accommodation with local families.

The website focuses on three main areas: courses; high school pathways; and homestay.

Courses

The language school has courses that suit the needs of every individual coming to New Zealand. All beginner to advanced courses are accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). High school students, adults who want to advance to further education, for residency reasons, to apply for work, or for travelling to English speaking countries, everyone is welcome to improve their English skills.

High School Pathways

DUKE Institute of Studies works closely with top North Shore schools. English language lessons for 12 to 17 years old are tailored to better prepare students and adapt to the culture of the New Zealand classroom. Students have flexible learning options, allowing them to choose from anywhere between two weeks to nine months, and can start anytime throughout the year.

Homestay

Live with a Kiwi host family while improving your English language skills and experiencing the vibrant lifestyle in New Zealand. All international students on short-term courses at DUKE Institute of Studies are offered homestay accommodation. The boutique language school is a registered Homestay Agent and can help in making all the arrangements and special requirements throughout your study and stay.
