The "Older Qualification Course" for Cert 3 & Diploma in Early Childcare Education Extended to 2023

MELBOURNE, Australia - Dec. 28, 2022 - PRLog -- It was reported in 2021 that the former programme has been replaced with a new Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childcare Education & Care certification course. The Australian Skills Quality Authority has opted to prolong the older certification courses, nevertheless, until January 2023.

Australia's Skills Quality Authority says "For the below Early Childhood Education & Care qualifications, ASQA has authorized an extended transition time. The additional time for training, testing, and certification issuing for this qualification expires on January 20, 2023."

Up to 2023, you may continue to finish the following certification programme:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
• Diploma of School-Aged Education and Care
• Certificate III in Education Support
• Certificate IV in Education Support

You can enrol in and finish these courses as long as you meet the prerequisites shown above up until the completion of the prolonged transition period.

The early childhood workforce is set to thrive with the Australian NSW Government committing 25,000 fee-free training places to boost the pipeline of skilled and job-ready workers for the early education and care sector.

The early childhood program, developed by Skilled up RTO, offers access to workforce development in the early childhood education sector through an accelerated, online program where students can complete a Diploma in early childhood education or earn a preK-2 teaching certificate, while keeping their current full time childcare and teaching position.

"This program will add value to the University, accomplishing a state university's task by only providing reasonable education opportunities to the public and contributing to undertaking a state-wide staffing shortage problem in early childhood education and learning quality," said Nabil.
