FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nov. 6, 2022 - PRLog -- Wrong-way video detection systems are typically installed on highway exit ramps for the purpose of warning drivers traveling in a direction counter to one-way traffic flow by activating highlighted flashing wrong-way warning signs so that the driver can take corrective action.  These systems also provide time-sensitive written and image notifications to local traffic management centers and law enforcement using network and cellular communications.

GovComm boasts the intelligent transportation industry's most accurate and highest available wrong-way video detection systems with patent pending technology and Six Sigma precision. GovComm offers to compete against any manufacturer in a $100,000 challenge to establish the best wrong-way vehicle detection system in the business.

Challenge criteria are as follows:

1.       Best wrong-way detection accuracy

2.       Best notification accuracy

3.       Best imagery of captured wrong-way events

4.       Fewest false calls

To participate in the GovComm $100,000 Wrong-Way Challenge, the competing manufacturer is required to provide a $100,000 payment bond and a wrong-way vehicle detection system installed at the Challenge test site.  Results of the challenge will be determined by industry recognized panel experts in accordance with Challenge rules and scoring criteria.  Decisions and awards made by the panel experts are final.  An escrow agent shall be designated to receive and disburse the losing manufacturer's $100,000 to the winning manufacturer's IRC section 501(c)(3) charity of choice after deducting monies paid from the escrowed funds for testing, panel experts' fees and costs.  Challenge results and participation information may be published and used for marketing purposes.  For further Challenge rules and details, please send your request by certified mail to: GovComm $100K Wrong-Way Challenge, 3830 SW 30 Avenue, Ft Lauderdale, Florida 33312.
