1st Annual Inaugural Minority Enterprise Development Week on Long Island October 13, 2022

The foundation services 14 counties in Downstate, New and the surrounding area in New York State. The foundation is a 501 c 3 Not-for-Profit Tax-Exempt Organization. Minority Enterprise Development Week – MED Week Offers a venue for minority-owned firms to access information, tools, and resources to grow their businesses both domestically and internationally through networking events,workshops, and issue forums.
The events that compose MED Week are meant to raise awareness among minority business owners, and the larger business community.
The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was founded in 2010 and is
New York State's Largest African American Chamber of Commerce and the Metro New York District of the U.S. SBA 2019 Small Business Champion for Downstate, N.Y.
LI African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., a participating organization in the Community Navigator Pilot Program, is funded in part through United States Black Chamber's grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Inaugural Minority Enterprise Development Week Ceremony will be held at the Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion
