Minority Enterprise Development Week In N.Y. State on L.I. October 10th, 2023

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - Aug. 15, 2023 - PRLog -- New York, New York - Minority Enterprise Development Week will be held in New York State in the 2nd week of October of 2023 on Long Island.  The inaugural day of MEDWEEK will be held on October 10th, 2023.

On October 10th, 2023 the first scheduled day of MEDWEEK will begin at 8:00 am and end at 1:00 pm at Town of Hempstead Pavilion One Washington Street, Hempstead, New York 11550.

Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) Offers a venue for minority-owned firms to access information, tools, and resources to grow their businesses both domestically and internationally through networking events,workshops, and issue forums. The events that compose MED Week are meant to raise awareness among minority business owners, and the larger business community and support these businesses in their efforts to grow to scale.

A theme of MED Week each year is that Minority entrepreneurs can benefit from increased commitment of the federal and state governments to award contracts to them, but only if they first have a strong, well-organized operation, officials said at last year's conference. The goal of MED WEEK is to expand the capacity of small business owners and increase the scope and size of these business owners in order to scale them up to larger enterprises.

The ultimate goal for MED Week 2023 is to expand MED Week into a MED Month by 2026.
