Summer Gastronomic Break to North Wales: 2 nights from £295 pp

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - July 25, 2022 - PRLog -- Bryan and Susan Webb, owners of Tyddyn Llan Restaurant with Rooms in Llandrillo in north Wales, have put together a special two-night summer break package.

On the first night, guests can enjoy Bryan's sumptuous eight-course tasting menu, with dishes including (subject to availability), broad bean and bacon soup, dressed crab and langoustine mayonnaise with fennel, avocado and radish salad, wild bass with laverbread and new seasons rack of local lamb with vignole of peas, broad beans, artichoke and mint.

Guests will choose a two-course dinner from the full daily menu on the second evening, with dishes such as dressed langoustine and crab mayonnaise, avocado salsa, fennel and radish salad, grilled red mullet with creamed aubergine, chilli and garlic oil, and fillet or ribeye of aged Welsh Black beef au poivre

Bryan's delicious desserts include rum and raisin ice cream with honey combe, Eton mess, poached cherries in Riesling with cinnamon ice cream, poached white peach in Champagne with vanilla ice cream, and chocolate marquise with caramel ice cream.

There is plenty to see and do in the area, including Bala Lake, rides on the Llanuwchllyn steam railway, the World Heritage site of Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and the historical market town of Ruthin.

For the more adventurous there is the world-famous zip wire and Zip World Mountain coaster and white-water rafting in Bala.

There are also great walks to be enjoyed direct from the hotel, with free guides available from reception.

The two-night break costs from £295 pp (two sharing a room), which includes two nights' B&B, and meals as described.
