By: Yoruba Cultural Center, Dallas, Texas The Yorubafest is organized by the non-profit organization, Yoruba Cultural Center Dallas Inc, to highlight and promote the arts, music, and culture of the great Yoruba people. The two-day event to be launched by Mayor Eric Lynn Johnson, Mayor of Dallas on Saturday October 15, 2022, enjoys the royal patronage of the Custodian of the Yoruba Culture and Heritage, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, The Ooni of Ife, whose delegation will include eminent Yoruba kings and royalty. The combination of outdoor and indoor activities will take place on the premises of the Yoruba Cultural Heritage Museum on 7111 Marvin D Love Freeway, Suite 209, Dallas, Texas 75237 (https://youtu.be/ Saturday, October 15, 2022, afternoon will host Kim O Summer 2022 Ankara Collection. This Yorubafest Haute Couture Fashion Show will display the best of African designs before the select audience of fashion connoisseurs in America. Yorubafest 2022 will also celebrate selected aspects of the unique Yoruba culture with entertainment replete with food, drumming, drama, and dance.
