By: HJ Digital Solutions
Prior to its release, Cindy conducted two separate pilot groups of women who went through the process outlined in The Shift Café. One local participant, Denna, said she "was stuck in [her] life and needed a change," and when done she commented that she was "more at peace" and that her life had "a good direction."
Featured in O, the Oprah magazine, Entrepreneur, Fortune and Forbes, Cindy is an international speaker, coach and educator whose mission is to serve people determined to create positive changes in their lives. As the first-ever female Director at Knauf Insulation of North America, she was responsible for Human Resources and Organization Development. She is now founding President and CEO of Making Performance Matter® – home of The Shift Café™. The Shift Café, where women who drink coffee together change the world.
When asked about her motivation for the book, Cindy shared that she "believes in everyone's potential to live their best life right now and that in order to do this, they need to create a shift within. That's what The Shift Café is all about."
The Shift Café features co-author Karen Packwood, owner of Spirit Spa Press, the book's publishing firm.
