Follow on Google News | A Place to Float Launches 'Hope Floats' to Honor Local HeroesBy: A Place to Float A Place to Float has taken extra precautions including safe sanitization, extra cleaning practices and proper social distancing for the safety of staff and members. A 60-year practice, floating has become a popular wellness tool that can relieve stress & anxiety, alleviate chronic pain, support athletic performance and enhance creativity & mindfulness. With the stress of COVID-19, the team at A Place to Float wanted to invite all of Indianapolis to give back to the community and support everyone who is doing their part. Starting Tuesday, April 28th, they are launching 'Hope Floats' – a buy one, gift one campaign to honor the heroes who give us hope. 'Hope Floats' isn't limited to "official" essential personnel. Instead, A Place to Float wants customers to gift a float to the person or people in their lives that have made a difference – regardless of their job title. Customers aren't limited on how many Hope Floats packages they want to buy, and they can choose to either gift one from each package or give both from each package away. "Every day we hear stories of people who go above and beyond to benefit and serve others in these uncertain times…whether it's a teacher, front line responder, essential worker, neighbor or colleague. We want to provide everyone with the opportunity to say thank you to these heroes by giving them a place to relax, recharge and continue to be the best version of themselves. The 'Hope Floats" initiative lets us collectively do just that," says Aaron Douglas, Co-Owner, A Place to Float. A Place to Float is looking forward to honoring the hundreds of people in Indianapolis who continue to provide hope in humanity through the Hope Floats program. Customers can purchase their Hope Floats packages at www.APlaceToFloat.com/ About A Place to Float (www.aplacetofloat.com) Opened in 2017, A Place to Float is located in Downtown Indianapolis near Lucas Oil Stadium.
