iNZects Game - A roll-and-draw game with no downtime!

I have always been fascinated by insects, as a child I wanted to be an entomologist when I grew up.

That didn't happen, but I'm still interested in insects!

iNZects is a roll and draw, print and play game of New Zealand insects, for 1-6 players or 3-6 teams!

This game can be played both in person, and over Twitch or Zoom with friends all over the world.

In this game you roll three custom dice, choose two of them, and draw the shapes (touching, but not necessarily connected) on your sheet.  Move the insect marker around the track each time someone rolls. There's no downtime, because everyone else must use the one die you set aside!

The meat of the game is connecting the insects with their homes

The insects used in the standard game are Ant, Bee, Cicada, Dragonfly, Huhu, Praying Mantis, Red Admiral, Weta. On the board, there are two pictures of each insect and one picture of its home (They have the names written beside them for clarity). You need to connect the insects to their home. The scoring is also simple: one insect of a type connected to its home, scores one point. Both insects of the same type connected to their home, scores three points. Connecting the insects together without their home doesn't give any points.

In the rule booklet, there is a page with information and facts about each New Zealand native insect.

There is a second, smaller board, which can be used for a faster game or for children.
