5th Edition of Hridaya Drishyam inaugurated

BHOPAL, India - March 29, 2022 - PRLog -- Bhopal: The music lovers of Madhya Pradesh were mesmerised by the national and international acclaimed artists on Saturday with the commencement of the 5^th edition of the Hriday Drishyam Music Fest at Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre (Minto Hall).

The event was inaugurated by Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism and Culture Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh in the presence of national and international acclaimed artists including Amaan Ali Bangesh, Joe Alvares, Padmashri Bharti Bandhu, Purbayan Chatterjee and others.

The fifth edition of Hriday Drishyam – a mega musical feast of the state culture and tourism department, witnessed several mesmerising musical performances at different venues in Bhopal.

The event commenced with the performance of sarod player Amaan Ali Bangesh, son of music maestro Amjad Ali Khan, who was accompanied by Tabla player Satyajeet Talwalkar. The duo enthralled the music lovers on the first day.

Spanish folk music by Almudena Longarms (from Spain) also spellbound the audience at Minto Hall.

On the same day, music lovers witnessed sitar recital by Purbayan Chatterjee at Bharat Bhavan and Sufi songs by Padma Shri Bharti Bandhu at Ravindra Convention Centre. Pop Singer Shefali presented Pop-Rock music at Drive-in Cinema.

Besides the music performances, a Zari Zardozi competition was also organised, in which around 60 students showcased their talent.
