Zenni Optical Reviews & Comments – Cary N

As a past Zenni customer who was previously happy with my choices and purchases offered by Zenni Optical I have to inform that things have changed, beware!

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Feb. 17, 2022 - PRLog -- In November of 2021 I ordered and paid for a pair of prescription glasses from Zenni Optical online.

The Zenni optical company after three attempts to get what was ordered failed miserably. The three opportunities I gave them to fulfill what I, the paying customer wanted went as follows:

1. I ordered under the 2021 Christmas Special a pair of regular sized framed glasses along with my prescription from my optometrist at a cost of $81.85. After approximately three weeks I received my order. Unfortunately the frames were excessively large even for a clown to use with their costume. I returned them immediately and joked about it.

2. After being informed that the frame I desired was not available in a regular size I went on the Zenni Optical online catalog and found another frame I liked. Due to the Christmas Special being over I was charged an additional $42.0, which I paid.

3. The glasses arrived in approximately three weeks. Another error my +.75 prescription was filled at +1.5. I again immediately returned the glasses with a third copy of my prescription  stating the mistake they made.

4. It was now February 2022 almost 4 months since I originally ordered glasses from the Zenni Optical Company. Gil Z of Zenni Optical nicely stated that he would make a onetime exception and send me what I ordered and expedite shipping. Again, I was not sent the correct frames with the Doctors prescription they were given for my glasses.

The Zenni Optical Company all along the way fought with me the customer continually, offering to credit the amount I spent and reorder them online. All I ever wanted was to place an order for the frames I desired with the prescription from my Doctor. How difficult should that be?

Be careful when dealing with an online computer company, humans are much more accommodating and friendly.

In closing Zenni would not honor, credit me or send me the frames and prescription I ordered and paid for. Needing glasses to see I went to WalMart and Costco to get glasses. I will share that WalMart was a few dollars more and Costco was a few dollars less even using quality designer frames. I got the correct glasses in a few days.

I strongly recommend seeking glasses elsewhere. In the event you choose to use Zenni Optical, only get one prescription, not progressive or Bifocal lenses. I am a consumer sharing my experiences and stating the facts under my first amendment rights.
