KML Vision Official Sponsor of the 1st International CAM Conference

GRAZ, Austria - Feb. 3, 2022 - PRLog -- dThe 1st International CAM-Conference will take place 7-8 February 2022. The event will take place virtually and participation is free for attendants.

This high-level medical event offers a platform for scholarly exchange around the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) assay. The CAM model represents an alternative ex-ovo methodology for the study of tumor angiogenesis and has recently gained prominence. Using this method the effects of different angiogenic and anti-angiogenic agents can be tasted on the chorioallantoic membrane of a developing chicken embryo.

At the conference line-up of experts will shed light on the applications of the CAM model with regards to cancer research and biomedical imaging. Exciting topics like the use of CAM assay to research shock wave therapy and the analysis of CAM-assay image data with the help of AI-driven software solutions are on the agenda.

The best conference submissions will be invited for publication in a special issue of the MDPI journal "Cancers."
