WASHINGTON - Jan. 14, 2022 - PRLog -- We've had many recent inquiries from talented Asian, Black, Hispanic and Women entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their business, even in this environment. They use change and innovation to make society better, in the face of racism and sexism, and they see their efforts as having a high probability of success. If they can see themselves succeeding in this environment, I can use my experience and education to provide advice, data and information to help. This book will help by saving you time and money: you can improve your chances by having honest, objective and accurate information on actual resources currently available to help minority and women-owned firms.

Our hope is that, in reading this book, you will discover resources and institutions that can actually help: the minority business landscape is filled with misinformation. We hope to help, in a small way, correct some of that misinformation and support the passion and excitement that many of you have. This book is a tool to help you reach your business goals, quickly, efficiently, without wasting time, effort and money on institutions and strategies that don't work.

In this book, you'll learn about the current environment for minority and women owned firms:

Many major corporations have announced support for Black Lives Matter. What is the nature of these pledges? Can they actually help?

Many firms have announced grant programs for minority and women-owned firms. Which of these are real? Are they worth your time?

Federal, state and local governments have minority and women business programs. Are any of these useful? Which are not? How can you tell?

Networking is key. Which are the best groups to join and the best tactics to use once you have done so.
