AKCP announces results of Log4j Scan

ISLANDWIDE, Singapore - Dec. 15, 2021 - PRLog -- Log4j is a critical vulnerability affecting a wide range of software platforms and devices. Discovered on December 8th 2021 it has affected a number of applications including the game Minecraft and Apple iCloud. The vulnerability is found in Apache Log4j 2, a Java logging library.

This vulnerability has been a cause for concern for many companies worldwide. AKCP, as a supplier of environmental monitoring devices to the world's data centers, banks, government agencies and military have implemented a review of all their hardware and software platforms.

AKCP confirmed that none of their products utilize Java or are exposed to this vulnerability. In addition AKCP has scanned all of its  products using the Nessus scanning tools from Tenable. The results of this scan are published on the AKCP website on the link below.

Due to the sensitive nature of the facilities in which AKCP equipment is installed, AKCP performs a monthly scan of all platforms and software and publishes these results.
