Outlook Care Support Worker Wins Prestigious Care Award

HAVERING, U.K. - Nov. 29, 2021 - PRLog -- Support Worker, Sandra Yeeles, has won the Care Worker award at the London region of the Great British Care Awards.

The Great British Care Awards Gala dinner was held at the Hilton London Bankside on Friday 19 November 2021. The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout England and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work. The awards are all inclusive, bringing together the statutory, independent, and voluntary sectors, as well as unpaid carers, promoting joint working.

Sandra works in one of Outlook Care's supported living settings in Havering for people with profound learning disabilities. She is passionate about her work, and feels it is her duty to do her very best for all her customers for every minute of her working day.

Sandra's continued focus is on the protection and mental wellbeing of her customers.

The judges chose Sandra as her 'bubbly atmosphere was present from the start of her interview. You can see a clear passion and desire in her to be the best carer she can. Saying she learns a lot from her service users and ensures empathy, patience and kindness to everyone.'

Sandra was delighted to receive her award, "I feel privileged and honoured to receive this award on behalf of our customers and team. A person does not work by themselves alone. I would like to thank all customers and staff for their help and input to get this project up and running. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
